Replacing Rotten Planks

Replanking the yacht was one of the most major repairs that had to be done. When I first took over ownership of L'Odyssée, it was leaking badly so fixing this became a priority. Before the yacht was lifted at Navar Yard, I had to find people who could do this work, this was difficult as most of them were either dead or too old to take on such a tast. Eventually I found Dusko and Nedjo who had both worked for the Arsenal Ship Yard, before it became Porto Marina. They both had a combined experience working on wooden boats of 74 years. The job took almost two years to complete.
